What are the disadvantages of bark mulch? 

While these products are quite long-lasting and durable, they are natural and do break down after several years, so you will need to replenish them. Some companies may use chemical dies to colour their decorative bark, so make sure you choose natural colours, especially around vegetable gardens. For a very uniform appearance, try our woodchip mulch.
