Are wood pellets good for the environment?

Yes, they bring several environmental benefits: They repurpose biomass left over from sawmills, construction work, etc. They are sourced from sustainably managed forests. Also, they produce no harmful emissions and almost no ash when burning.

How should I store my pellets?

Store in a dry place, away from moisture and humidity. Ideally, place the unopened bags off the floors on pallets. Smaller quantities from bags you've already opened can be stored in airtight containers, such as buckets with sealable lids. Keep away from naked flames and other ignition sources.
